Biography

Nasimeh is pursuing her PhD degree at the University of Melbourne, Australia. She received her master of science degree in Environmental Engineering with honours, from the University of Tehran, Iran in 2015. During her M.Sc. study, she worked on Anthropogenic sources of Mercury in Tehran and estimating its emission. She has been working on control and monitoring of air pollutants in Mahshahr petrochemical special economic zone in 2014 and 2015. Currently, she is working on improving regional inventories, using satellite concentration measurements and inverse modelling under the supervision of Prof. Peter Rayner, Dr. Robyn Schofield, and Dr. Jeremy Silver. Nasimeh's research interests include atmospheric chemistry and chemical transport modelling, climate change & teleconnections, application of 3D models on regional weather, environmental risk assessment, and remote sensing applications in air pollution.
