Biography

Dr Jules Kajtar is a Research Fellow in Marine Extremes at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies. He is partly funded under a National Environmental Science Program (NESP) project entitled ‘Marine and coastal climate services for extremes information’. Before joining the University of Tasmania in March 2019, Jules was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Exeter (UK) for two years. He was also a postdoctoral researcher at the University of New South Wales (Sydney) between 2012-2016.
