Biography

Hooman is a research fellow at the University of Melbourne. He has a PhD in climate science. His research areas have been focused on studying the storm properties and how they have changed during the past decades using high-resolution remotely-sensed radar and satellite data. Currently, he is trying to understand the role of front dynamics in fire weather in Australia using high-resolution simulations. He also has a great passion for programming in different languages and its application in understanding the physics behind the natural phenomena.
