Biography

Dr. Rishav Goyal is a postdoctoral Research Associate based at CCRC, UNSW. His work involves the use of climate models to understand atmospheric circulation in the Southern Hemisphere and how it impacts the Southern Ocean and Antarctic sea-ice. Rishav completed his PhD from UNSW, Sydney in 2022. He also holds a Master’s degree in Climate Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering. In his new role, he plans to examine the interaction between atmospheric circulation and the Ocean - Cryosphere system in the Southern Hemisphere.
