Biography
Alanah graduated her undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne in February 2022, majoring in Climate and Weather. She has commenced a Master of Science in Atmospheric sciences at the University of Melbourne beginning July 2022, looking at the diurnal cycle of clouds and precipitation over far northern Queensland. Previous research undertaken in her undergraduate involved analysis of precipitation over the Southern Ocean using radar and reanalysis datasets alongside in-situ observations. Outside of her research topics, Alanah is interested in extreme weather events - particularly fire weather and the impacts of climate change on such events.
