PhD Mesoscale Wind Variability, Technical University of Denmark – DTU (2010)
Biography
Dr Claire Vincent is a senior lecturer in the School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Melbourne. Her research interests include tropical weather and climate variability, extreme rainfall and the variability of renewable energy resources. She is particularly interested in the different scales of variability in the weather and climate system, and the ways in which these scales interact to create extreme weather. Dr Vincent completed her PhD at the Technical University of Denmark in 2010, where she examined the mesoscale variability of wind resources.
