Biography
Frans obtained a bachelor's degree in Applied Earth Sciences and a double master's degree in Geosciences and Remote Sensing and Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. After completing his master's Frans was employed for close to two years as a researcher working on an open boundary implementation for the Dutch Atmospheric Large Eddy Simulation (DALES) model. Frans is now pursuing a PhD at Monash University in Melbourne under the supervision of Prof Christian Jakob.
