Dr Jatin Kala

Biography

Dr Kala's primary research interest is land-atmosphere interactions and his work is mostly focused around land surface modeling. He is a contributor towards the development of the Community Atmosphere Biosphere Land Exchange (CABLE) model, the land surface model within the Australian Community Climate Earth Systems Simulator (ACCESS), which is a global climate model widely used within the Australian climate science and weather forecasting community. Jatin is also interested in boundary-layer meteorology, regional climate modelling, model evaluation, and assessing the impacts of future climate change on agriculture.
