Biography

Lina has a background in Meteorology. In her Master's thesis, she compared simulated burned area of global dynamic vegetation models and subsequently worked as a research scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology in Hamburg. During her PhD, she focuses on different sources of uncertainty in carbon cycle projections, including the impact of climate variability, uncertainty in global climate model projections, and uncertainties in the parametrisations of dynamic global vegetation models when applied to regional scales.
