Matt Grant

Biography

Matt completed his Masters in Mathematical Modelling (Climate Science) at the University of Exeter in 2021, with his thesis focusing on future projections of soil moisture droughts across Europe. He then joined the UK Met Office, working on various projects; from improving the numerical weather prediction post-processing systems, to conducting research into whether higher resolution climate models improve drought projections. Matt started his PhD in September 2023, researching future drought risk in Australia.
