Biography
Lan is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne investigating the interaction of climate modes on northern Australian rainfall. She obtained her Bachelor's degree at Vietnam National University of Science and Master's degree at National Central University, Taiwan. She then worked as a full time research assistant at the Faculty of Atmospheric Science, National Central University, Taiwan for almost two years. Her research interests are rainfall extreme, tropical convection, climate variability and climate models.
