Biography
Christal completed her Bachelor of Science in 2021 at the University of Melbourne (UoM), majoring in Climate and Weather Studies. She commences her Master of Science in Aviation Meteorology at UoM in February 2022, and is currently investigating the convective induced turbulence and thunderstorms with field campaign data from America.
Christal has experience in data analysis and visualisation with Python after undertaking a research project with CLEX in 2021, focusing on extreme rainfall characteristics in Melbourne Dr Stacey Hitchcock and Prof Todd Lane.
Christal is interested in tropical cyclones, atmospheric dynamics and weather forecasting outside of her research work.
