CLEX now has a Knowledge Brokerage Team. Ian Macadam joined the University of New South Wales node in October. He has experience working in a variety of applied climate science, project management and data handling roles for leading providers of climate information, including the ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate System Science, CSIRO, the UK Met Office and NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.

Ian has been working hard to reach out to some of the Centre’s key stakeholders in government and business to better understand what they need in the way of information from our scientists. He needs your help to ensure that stakeholders ranging from senior public servants and company directors to high school students reap the benefits of CLEX research. He would love to hear from you:

  • If your work is relevant to government and/or business and you would like help communicating it
  • If you have developed data that you think might be valuable to government and/or business
  • You have been involved in outreach to schools or have been developing school teaching resources (and haven’t already filled out this survey on our website).
