Our new media strategy following our mid-term review, which aims to reach out to stakeholders beyond academia, is already bearing fruit. And this new focus received a real boost with the release of the IPCC Working Group 1 report.
The Attribution and Risk program is taking shape with regular meetings on the fourth Wednesday of every month and has established focused questions and research around the processes that shape Australian extremes and the advanced machine learning/statistical approaches that will help produce the answers.

The past few months following the mid-term review have seen a reorganisation of our research programs and a corresponding rearrangement of the website into these programs. The past four months have seen a lot of activity with the release of Weathex 2.0, a short video Q&ARC introducing some of our researchers, two combined Centre of Excellence media workshops, and a pilot interview program featuring Christian Jakob that explored the challenges of climate science.
